Big Boy Room

I didn't really want to put up any pictures until the room was done, but I haven't blogged in awhile and this is the best I've got!
With the new baby coming, we wanted to go ahead and start working on Ethan's new Big Boy Room and get him completely adjusted to sleeping in a twin bed before the baby is here, which I'm sure may cause some regression. We are by no means done, but we've got a good start. The Grubbs came over last Friday night and helped us get the entire room painted. (THANKS, RACHEL AND CURT! WE LOVE YOU!!!) Saturday we sent Ethan to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the morning and we got the bed put together and went out to buy the mattresses. We're still working on getting the dresser put together, and I have a whole lot of decorating to do, but here's our progress...
He LOVES it!!!! Can't wait to get the rest of the room done and get him officially "moved in." That should be an adventure! :)

My Big ol-belly

Can I get a "Holy cow?...Where did that belly come from?"
But I kinda like it...I'm quite a bit skinnier than last time around, so I think it's kinda cute!

So this is me at 14 weeks. This pregnancy has definitely been a lot harder than last time. I've been nauseas for 7 weeks now. I don't want to jinx it, but I haven't been quite as nauseas the last 4-5 days, so maybe I'm past it!!!!

Note to myself, for Ethan's baby book:
Ethan got his two bottom molars this past week, as well as an ear infection. But he's been acting pretty good, considering!

CAMP'N!!!

We enjoyed another great weekend of camping with great friends! You can see in the pictures there are two distinct parts of the weekend: pre-rain, then the rain. But we had 3 canopies that we put together and we all just hung out inside those. Rain can't stop our fun!

And for my regular blog followers, I'm sure you're dying to know - did you drive back home in the middle of the night with Ethan??? NOOOOO!!!!! We decided no matter what, we were going to tough it out. Ethan went to bed fine on Friday, but woke up around midnight and was up crying/fussing/playing for 2-3 hours. Saturday night he slept like an angel ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! Woohoo!

We're ready for the big church campout next month!

I have to preface this by saying we NEVER let Ethan play with our phones, so when we did tonight, he had the time of his life! (Sorry the camera keeps shaking - I'm laughing too hard!)

Friday Night Football

Now that Ethan's old enough to enjoy it, he got his first taste of Friday Night Football. The boy loved it!!!!! He loved watching all the action on the field, dancing to the band, and shouting "ball! ball! ball!" over and over again. We had a blast!
