CAMP'N

We spent the weekend camping and enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather. I've been looking forward to this weekend for so long, but at the same time was very nervous about how Ethan would do. Every other time we've been camping, Ethan has woken up in the middle of the night and has not been able to fall back asleep. Worried that we'd wake up all our friends, we've ended up driving back home in the middle of the night. Well, it happened again. Friday night I drove back with Ethan around 1am, and Saturday we just went home around 8pm, figuring it would probably happen again, so we might as well just get a good night's sleep at home (which we did not - he woke up there too! At least he only woke me up, not the whole campsite). But aside from sleeping issues, Ethan did AMAZING! He is a natural camper. The boy LOOOOOOVES being outside! He just walked around the campsite, finding rocks, sticks, grass, bugs, etc. (which he surprisingly did NOT eat!). Aside from taking a ball, we didn't really take any toys for him - he was so happy just walking around, enjoying God's beautiful creation!

Mr. Manners

My boy is EXTREMELY polite! His favorite words right now are 'thank you!' We hear them A LOT throughout the day! Soooooo cute...

Happy Easter!

Dinner and a Train Ride

Lonnie and I decided we wanted to try Mad Pizza last night for dinner (it was good, by the way!). Apparently our new form of entertainment is giving Caden candy or gum that is either really sour or really hot. This time it was gum:

After dinner we headed to the promenade (and gave Warheads to the kiddos to see their reaction):

We went on the new Train ride at the Promenade. Only $3 per child, which includes a free ride for the parent. Wow! I thought it'd be $10, considering it IS the Promenade. We had a blast!
This one cracks me up - wrong way, Ethan!

My Handsome Boy

There's no real reason for these pictures other than I thought Ethan was looking exceptionally cute yesterday.
Love this picture - a boy and his shadow!

Dying Easter Eggs

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house yesterday afternoon to dye Easter eggs (well, Ethan pretty much watched while Lexi and Logan dyed Easter eggs).
Ethan sat in his chair after eating his lunch and played with the eggs for probably 45 minutes. I've never seen him so engrossed in an activity for so long! He pretty much just moved eggs from one spot in the container to another, picked them up and inspected them, and jibber-jabbered.

Lexi thought it was funny to put stickers on Ethan:
Grandma got Ethan a little stuffed bunny - he LOVED it!!!!

The boys headed out on the golf cart to go for a ride and to see the cows while Lonnie and I packed up to head home for nap time:

Jealousy

Jealousy will make you do crazy things, right? I think Ethan is very jealous of Caden getting money from the Tooth Fairy for his two teeth, so he's taking matters into his own hands.

In all seriousness though, this is Ethan's favorite toy right now. He loves his pliers!!! (Thanks, Aunt Nicole!) This has become the new church toy - it keeps him quiet more than any other toy. He just chew and slobbers to his little heart's content!
