Ethan's FOURTH Birthday

We decided to have a low-key birthday for Ethan this year, since we had a big Gymboree party last year. Unfortunately, both sets of grandparents were either already traveling or getting ready to travel and so we couldn't have one joint family party, so we ended up having 3 parties! One with the Lamps, the night before they left for Mayo, one with friends, and one with my family after my parents returned from their vacation. Whew! I'm a worn out Mommy!

First party, Friday night before Ethan's birthday:

Saturday party with friends. We played a few games, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream:

Ethan's birthday morning:

He got to open one present before school:

And one present after school:

Then we had dinner with my family followed by presents and dessert:

And, of course, you can't have a party in my house anymore without Just Dance! My new theory in life....a family that dances together, sticks together! And the Willis' are sticking together! We even got Mom to dance!!!

Thanks to everyone that helped us celebrate Ethan's FOURTH birthday. We love having such close friends and of course our wonderful family to celebrate with!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ETHAN!!!!!

Around the house

Now this one really impresses me. This puzzle is actually 6 puzzles in one; you have to turn the cubes the correct way to get each different puzzle. Ethan has just figured out how to do this completely on his own!

Toy recommendation: Blocks are THE BEST TOY EVER. We've had these for over 2 years now, and it's the most reliable, most played with toy, even after 2 years.

Ummmm, we've eaten a lot of chocolate cake lately, between Lonnie's birthday and THREE birthday parties for Ethan. This boy has learned to love it!

Perhaps the second best toy...the tub that the blocks go in!!! Again, we play with that a lot, too!

Lonnie's Birthday

Lonnie turned the big 33 last month. Since his and Rachel's birthdays are only 6 days apart, Curt and I usually plan a joint birthday bash for the both of them. This year we had a bunch of friends over for dinner, then a Just Dance competition. It was LOADS of fun! I think it was our best birthday party to date!

The boys dancing= hilarious! NONE of us have any moves whatsoever, which makes it that much more fun!
